Formerly the Transcendentalist Study Group, the UULA Virtual Philosophy Circle opens up a space for participants across the globe to explore a certain philosopher, artist, writer, political thinker, or certain way of thinking. What's the "so what"? What are the take-aways? Where do we go from here?

With our host Matthew Sherling living in the country of Colombia, this gathering is an exciting virtual space to connect with people across the globe to discuss all ways of thinking.

Regular Thursday events are inspired by an 1899 church brochure that our archivist and member Erin Baldner found in the church archive. The church held events every Thursday and we’re excited to bring this tradition back to life with several exciting offerings this fall season.
